🌎 Deyanira

Deyanira is a great Spanish tutor in so many ways! I was looking to practice Spanish for specific purposes (specifically, I wanted to practice phrases for being an English language teacher for Spanish-speaking students), and Deyanira was so helpful, encouraging, and patient! She gave me space to practice speaking for specific situations then gave targeted feedback on how to make my sentences more natural. She also gave tips on communicating with Spanish-speaking parents and helped me come up with a practice plan. I learned a lot just from one lesson, and I feel more confident to practice Spanish moving forward!

Deyanira has helped me tremendously with my spanish. she is patient, knowledgeable, and has a clear structure for her lessons with me. she is knowledgeable about parts of speech, which is important for truly mastering the language. i've booked nearly two dozen languages with her, and have several more booked with her in the future. she is a hidden gem on Italki and i would recommend her for anyone seeking to improve their spanish.

Deyanira ha sido una excelente teacher, desde su personalidad agradable, su forma clara de explicar las cosas, con paciencia, las sugerencias que me ha dado para practicar mi inglés han sido las mejores, ya que realmente me han ayudado, ella se adapta a lo que tú necesitas aprender y no solo enseña por enseñar si no que te motiva en el transcurso. Yo tomé la primera clase de prueba con ella y continué porque desde la primera sesión me hizo sentir en confianza, para mí es un punto clave sentirte cómoda con la persona que te enseñará y bueno yo le agradezco a la Teacher. Deyi is a fantastic language instructor who has the ability to understand student needs and taylor-make lessons accordingly. Her intuitive pedagogical abilities, enthusiasm, knowledge of the Spanish language, cinema, literature and culture in general make her an ideal teacher. She can discuss street-food tacos as easily as magic realism literature. Deyi astutely engages learners in a manner that is motivating and effective.

She is lovely and kind and helps with new vocabulary and grammar all while having a fun and engaging conversation with you! She’s full of questions to get you talking about things that help you practice your challenge areas in the language and reach your goals!

Deyanira is such a lovely instructor! She is attentive and fun, making each lesson fly by. She gives me learning activities to complete prior to my next lesson, providing structure as we go through grammar and conversational practice. I highly recommend booking a class with her!
