Hello! I’m Yohei.
I was born in Kanazawa, Japan, and I currently live in Bangkok, Thailand.
I enjoy studying languages and playing shogi.

I completed the 420-hour Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in 2021.
I have five years of professional experience teaching Japanese, and eight years in total, including volunteer work.
I have lived in Australia for two years and in the Philippines for ten months,
so I value cultural differences and teach from the learner’s point of view.
My lessons are clear, structured, and easy to follow,

Really impressed with Yohei sensei! He's really patient and lets me struggle and make mistakes. He uses Google Docs and writes a list of all the correct ways to say what I want to say, along with the wrong way. I feel like I got a lot out of our lesson with all the new words to learn and review. Thank you!

Yohei was a fantastic teacher and did a great job of helping me correct my writing and breaking down where I made mistakes. He also noticed when I made a mistake speaking or with my pronunciation and helped correct me there too. Thank you very much.
