Isabel Lage-Pita

Isabel is always easy to talk to and has creative ideas to expand our conversations, as well as my vocabulary, comprehension, and ease of speaking Spanish. We've been working together for a little over a month and I look forward to each conversation!

Isabel is wonderful! Asks great questions that encourage me to use new vocabulary and recall what I already know. She provides feedback in a clear, encouraging way that never makes me feel silly for not being able to remember something, or phrasing something incorrectly.

Isabel is the best Spanish teacher ever! She takes time to personalize the lessons according to my level, so that I am both comfortable in speaking, but I am challenged to learn new vocabulary and grammar. Her style is unique in it's energetic playfulness, and she utilizes a wide range of activities including reading articles, playing games and more focus grammer exercises. Within a matter of few lessons, I have seen my Spanish improve. Now, I am ready to move to Colombia, and I am confident in being able to speak Spanish there! Gracias Isabel!!

I’ve only done 4 conversations with Isabel so far, but I already feel so much more comfortable speaking Spanish with her (I was super nervous to start!). She is always very patient, encouraging, and engaging.

Lessons with Isabel are always great fun and I learn a lot. She is very attentive and responds to my topics, questions and requests. Highly recommended!
