Hey, everyone. I'm Letícia and I'm from Brazil but I've been living in Canada for a while now. I'm fascinated about learning languages and about how ours brains work during that process. It all started when I started learning English as a 5 year-old. I graduated from Law School in 2018. I love sports, especially football (American football) and soccer. I love to travel. I'm also a language learner as I'm currently learning French. In January 2021 I sat my IELTS test, which conceded me a level C2. I look forward to getting to know you. Moi en tant que professeur

After I finished high school (2013, when I was 17) I was hired by a local Language School to teach English part-time, as I had also started Law School. I graduated from Law School but decided to keep teaching, which is something I do until this day and intend to do for a long time. So I have plenty of experience. I've used books from several widely known institutions and have attended several trainings, but I find that conversation is the best way to learn as all the other aspects of the language can be developed from that.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

Conversation can be used to learn all other aspects of the language. So, what I do with most students is choose a topic that will require a certain vocabulary and grammar structure and build from that. For example, talking about life experiences is a great topic to practice and teach present perfect. Another example is teaching simple past through talking about traveling. If required a longer plan of study can be developed for the student, including vocabulary, grammar, listenings and articles. I can also provide homework. Eu acredito que conversação é a melhor maneira de aprender, uma vez que todos os outros aspectos do idioma podem se desenvolver a partir dela.
