Hello!
My name is MIGUEL. I'm from Valencia, SPAIN.
I speak fluently Spanish, Catalan and English.
I'm Primary Teacher and Educational Psychologist.

I've been teaching languages for 20 years, in an Elementary School.
I've also given private lessons for High School students.

To learn a language you have to use it... without fear... learning from mistakes.
With children (from the age of 6, when they start elementary school and already know how to read and write) and teenagers I use books adapted to them, interspersed with various short and fun activities.
With adults I adapt to their needs. For those who want to learn in a structured way, we follow the structure of a book at their level. Those who want to reinforce a specific aspect, we focus on it. Those who want conversation, I offer conversation exercises...

Miguel is super patient and always helps us with pronunciation, not just correcting us but actually explaining why certain sounds are the way they are. I love that he also teaches us the differences in pronunciation between Spain and different Latin American countries, it makes learning even more interesting! His method is really engaging, and the class goes by so fast that we don’t even notice the time passing. Highly recommend.

I really love my classes with Miguel. After 15 sessions I can already communicate in a way that people can understand what I want to say. The lessons are well & easily structured which helps to expand the knowledge quickly. Miguel also gives the possibility to talk and explains then the mistakes in a well understandable and professional way. His English is fluently which allows to discuss more complex topics shortly to avoid misunderstandings. He is always sharing the learnings afterwards and gives manageable homework which is discussed in the next lesson. His patience and calmness is a valuable plus. 5 star recommendation.
