California Public School Teacher with 5 years of experience from Preschool to High School. Hi, I’m Salvador from California—a language lover and cultural explorer! Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, I’m also learning Tagalog, and Egyptian Arabic. When I’m not at the gym or with my plants, I’m reading history or planning trips. For me, languages connect hearts. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Second Language Studies from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, along with minors in Spanish and French. During my time in Hawaiʻi, I had the opportunity to study multiple languages—including Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Hawaiian—which strengthened my passion for multilingualism and cultural understanding. I later completed a Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction from San José State University. I have teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels, from Transitional Kindergarten (ages 3–4) through 9th grade, and I enjoy helping students build confidence and proficiency in language learning. I incorporate visuals intentionally to support comprehension and engagement in my teaching.
