Alberto Muciño

My Spanish has improved a lot since I started taking classes with Alberto. His classes are always informative and fun at the same time. My last class with him was especially good. Indeed, I did not want the class to end. Whoever takes classes with Alberto is going to advance in the Spanish language. Te lo prometo!

Alberto is a great teacher. I would like to highlight his creativity because I have asked other professors for help with 'debate' and 'hot topics' that give way to arguments, as I need help with more "formal" topics (not describing my house or my 3rd grade birthday party). The majority of the other teachers did not come close. So, if you are looking for someone who can come up with a number of different topics and push you to think 'outside the box', I highly recommend Alberto.

Alberto's belief that we can learn complex structures (like Subjunctive for me) by hearing them in context and not worrying about the proper conjugations, grammar etc. makes a lot of sense. If you are already taking conventional lessons like me, conversation with Alberto is a great way of hearing a native speaker, responding on the spot, picking up a few expressions, developing some level of fluency and spontaneity.

Alberto (and his niece Perla) take excellent care of their students, and you would be hard pressed to find more invested teachers. I highly recommend taking a class with them.
