Sarah Moon

I’ve had a few Korean lessons with Ms. Moon, and I’ve been really impressed with her teaching. Since I had studied Korean before, she took the time during our first lesson to assess my level and then tailored the lessons to fit my needs. Our classes are engaging and filled with interesting conversations, and she consistently gives me plenty of opportunities to practice speaking. I always look forward to our lessons.

Our lesson on cooking coincided with Chuseok, so we also talked about the foods that are prepared for the holiday. I really like how Teacher Moon incorporates history and culture with the language lessons.

it had been a few weeks since my last class with Sarah but she eased me back in to the lessons. I really enjoy our time talking about our lives and learning from her ☺️

선생님 is alway's great, I love my lessons with her, I usually come prepared with pictures of things I've done or cooked and we chat all about them, and she gives me lots of insight into korean culture. I always finish my lessons feeling like I've learned a little more Korean and come away even more confident.

We're learning about seasons, and there are so many words for 'hot' and 'raining', it is confusing to read them at first. Teacher Moon is really good at explaining all of the differences!
