I'm Raya, I'm 35 years old and I moved to Belgium in 2019. I'm born in Iran and grown up in Italy. My master's degree is in Directing&Scriptwriter. Writing has always been an important aspect of my life. I love dancing salsa&bachata and discovering new places in my free time. Mi chiamo Raya, ho 35 anni e mi sono trasferita in Belgio nel 2019. Sono nata in Iran e cresciuta in Italia. Mi sono laureata in Regia&Sceneggiatura. Scrivo da sempre per hobby o per lavoro e nel mio tempo libero amo ballare e scoprire posti nuovi.

I consider myself a language tutor. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is to jump in and try to speak it right away, so my approach is not academic but starts from the practice of conversation. Più che un insegnante preferisco definirmi come un tutor linguistico. Credo che il modo migliore per imparare una lingua sia quello di buttarsi e provare a parlarla da subito, per questo il mio approccio non è accademico ma parte dalla pratica della conversazione.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

In my lessons we will talk and discuss about topics that interest you most. We will choose together the topic to talk about and I will provide you with materials to help you (newspaper articles, video news, short documentaries etc.). In this way you will improve your vocabulary and grammar starting from the practice. Quello che offro sono incontri nei quali conversare e confrontarci sugli argomenti che più ti interessano. Sceglieremo insieme l'argomento di cui parlare in ogni lezione e ti fornirò in anticipo dei materiali su cui prepararti (articoli di giornale, video notizie, brevi documentari etc.). Migliorerai, cosi, il tuo lessico e la grammatica partendo dalla pratica.

Learning Italian with Raya has been a very pleasurable experience. The lessons are always well structured, interesting ( as its content is created around my subjects of interest) and challenging (which really stretches the imagination). Raya is patient, concise and very clear. I look forward to the next one.
