I am from Puerto Rico and I am 30 years old. I have a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish and after living in Prague for 4 years I have moved back to Puerto Rico. In terms of teaching experience, I started teaching over 5 years ago. I have worked with adults from university level onwards. Working on italki has taught me a lot and I am constantly trying to improve my teaching skills. I am friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. My lessons are typically usage based. This means you will be learning while using the language. However, this doesn't mean we won't be working on the other 3 language skills. Even when we are working on reading or writing skills I always try to incorporate some kind of oral discussion to tie all the skills together. As for homework, I leave it up to the student's preferences and the time they have available outside of the lessons to actually do homework.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I learn a lot through listening to Adriana speak in Spanish conversationally about history of the Puerto Rico or current events. It's a good mix between grammar lessons and impromptu conversations.
