Rina

Always great conversations!

It was a great lesson. Rina is really friendly. She explains grammar well and in an easy way. Also she challenges me so there’s a good balance in her lessons.

I have been with Rina for some time now, and I am super happy with her, she is a great teacher. For example, if I am speaking and say something wrong, she corrects me by repeating what I said, but correctly. Also, when I do not understand something, she really knows what she is talking about. It is not the same to know how to speak a language as it is to know how to explain a language. Rina has both skills. A lot of teachers do not know the grammatical reason behind something and just say, 'it is because it feels right.' As a non-Japanese speaker, it does not feel natural to me, so that explanation is not enough for me to understand. In contrast, Rina has always been able to explain to me the grammatical reasons behind the words and expressions I ask about, so I must say that I am truly glad to have such a wonderful teacher!

I just started lessons with Rina and have enjoyed them so far. I appreciate that the lesson is completely in Japanese as it helps with both my listening comprehension and speaking skills. The materials are on level and I know she will help me further my skills over time

Aprendo muchísimo con Rina-sensei. Las clases con ella se me pasan volando, son muy amenas y trabajamos todo tipo de ejercicios y disciplinas: lectura, kanji, mucho vocabulario, gramática, conversación, listening... Siento que con ella mi japonés está mejorando mucho y, aunque me cuesta hablar y mantener conversaciones, gracias a ella voy ganando soltura poco a poco. ¡Muchas gracias!
