I'm Thao. I was born and grew up in Hanoi. I love traveling, enjoying food, meeting people & experiencing new things. Because of that, I've chosen to work as a tour guide, mainly based in Vietnam; so if you have plan to visit Vietnam in the coming time, please feel free to ask me questions :)
In addition, I have great passion for cooking (Vietnamese, Asian and western food); and singing. I'd love to invite you to eat the food I make, and listen to me singing if you have a chance to come to Vietnam :). I also really love animals and plants.Moi en tant que professeur
I'm a certified Vietnamese teacher and have been teaching Vietnamese to expats living in Hanoi and online since 2008. I used to work for language teaching centers but now I'm working as an independent Vietnamese teacher. I have experience teaching students from many countries in the world such as Europe, USA, Australia & Asia.
I love teaching, meeting students from different countries & enjoy people studying & loving our language.

I'll teach you in the way the most familiar with your mother tongue & the languages you know. My teaching style is strict & free at the same time;and I need constructive cooperation & interaction with students

It was yet another productive and fruitful lesson with Chị Thảo today, as we did two listening exercises and reviewed vocabulary related to time and schedules. Chị Thảo has also made it a point to correct my homework, and I am very heartened to see how I have managed to use the words and structures learnt so far to describe my daily schedules and activities - definitely looking forward to more lessons!

Thảo has great lessons. She is friendly, I feel more relaxed with her than the other tutors I tried. She also integrates some of the culture into the lesson. Today we practiced tones and used vietnamese cities to practice those tones. She took the time to say a little about each city, and it was nice to have some culture in the lesson.
Lessons are paced well: a quick test of last lesson's material, and then the rest is new vocab!

I've been enjoying my classes with Thảo! I just finished my second class, and I already have my third one booked for Friday. Thảo is patient especially when it comes to tones, she wants to make sure we get it right. I really appreciate her diligence in her teaching and look forward to learning more!

I enjoyed my first lesson with Thao! We've got a structured plan on how we will focus moving forward on my learning journey. And Thao is very helpful/encouraging when it comes to proper pronunciation. I look forward to future lessons with her. :)

What an enthusiastic and professional teacher! Loved the class with Ms. Nguyen. We discussed my goals in learning Vietnamese, I was informed about part of the history of Vietnam, the Vietnamese language and their alphabet, and we had an introduction on the vowels of the language. Already booked another class and am super excited!
