My name is Tabitha and I’ve been a certified EFL teacher since 2019! I’m passionate about languages and in my free time, I enjoy improving my level of French and Chinese. I love to travel and have visited countries all across the world. Currently, I’m based in Brighton in the United Kingdom. I love literature and usually have my nose in a book. I’m inspired by meeting new people and sharing information and ideas. Let’s learn from each other!
After several years in charities and in the corporate sector, I decided to pursue my passion for education. I gained my teaching qualification in 2019 and moved to Fuzhou, China to teach English! Since then, I have taught in classrooms, online, and as a private tutor in France. My conversation classes are very popular - I love learning new things with my students and discussing a huge variety of topics. I also work as a project manager, writer and content creator.
I understand the importance of personalised learning and want to help you identify your specific goals and motivations for learning English. Moreover, I want to support you in finding a balance of classes and self-study which works around your schedule. Life is busy! I would definitely recommend Tabitha as an English teacher, especially for advanced students. I was looking for a teacher who could help me to progress further. I feel kinda stuck at the moment in terms of some language intricacies, I find myself sounding quite robotic while speaking at times.
And Tabitha is so helpful in this regard actually. She provides me with better alternatives to the fairly basic words and out-of-context vocab I often use. This is not something that every English teacher is capable of doing right off the cuff.

Tabitha’s lessons are always well-prepared and organised. Love how she motivates me to speak and think in English! I don’t feel tired at all after the lesson, instead I’m like recharged!
