06/2016 - 09/2018. I used my spare time to teach Chinese to primary school students in China. This experience taught me more about students' psychology and how to get their attention so that they could learn more.
11/2018 - 05/2020, I began to work in an after-school tutoring program. I taught junior high school students Chinese and politics and did some management work.
06/2020, I started working on Italki. I have taken classes with students from more than 20 countries and completed nearly 3,000 classes.

Yujie laoshi did a wonderful job keeping a record of the feedback and corrections that she felt would improve my Chinese conversational skills. Yujie is brilliant - always get so much out of these lessons and she helped me prepare for an interview I had in Chinese with a chinese company and because of this help I was able to negotiate a higher salary than I would have if I could not speak mandarin.
