Ahmed Deiab

Ahmed is the only language teacher you will ever need. He is passionate, polite, competent, well rounded, and extraordinarily gifted as a teacher. I started learning Egyptian Arabic from him in August. Now, we are starting to have more complex conversations on current events and deeper topics. He is a human encyclopedia and brilliant translator and interpreter. He is capable of translating even the most unusual of metaphors and concepts. Ahmed has proven much more organized and dedicated than my professors in college. From utilizing a custom worksheet to coherently demonstrating proper conjugation to recommending books for practice both in and out of class, to watching travel videos in Egyptian Arabic on YouTube, Ahmed has developed an unique ability to adapt to each student an effect curriculum. I have two friends I have referred to Ahmed that are now taking classes and a potential third in the works. He is an outstanding teacher and I look forward to every lesson!

Ahmed is solid. He holds a fantastic conversation on virtually any topic you want to talk about and is able to help IMMEDIATELY with hard to translate sentences. Another plus is is English language capability is near that of a native born English speaker.

Ahmed is an exceptional teacher! He makes you feel at ease from the very first lesson and works with you to define a structured and effective learning path. Even from the first lessons, he allows you to dive into the Arabic language and learn it step by step through grammar tips and conversations! I will definitely continue my journey with him

Ahmed is a really good teacher. His manner of teaching is relaxed and he works at a pace which enables me to fully understand the subject. I find Arabic an amazing language, but I won’t deny that it’s also quite challenging to learn. As a native English speaker I learned to speak French and also Dutch, but in comparison, Arabic is a totally different ballgame, primarily due the different alphabet. Therefore I think Ahmed, having learnt other languages himself, is fully cognisant of what it’s like to be a student learning, and consequently shows great patience and empathy throughout each lesson. For anyone interested in learning Arabic, definitely worth doing a trial lesson with him!

I have completed four lessons with Ahmad. He is a fantastic teacher, patient but highly energized. He continues to push me to speak Arabic, which is exactly what I need.
