Hello! My name is Noemi, I'm 29 and I'm a bilingual speaker in Italian and English. I studied as an interpreter and translator at the University of Bologna, and I am currently waiting to pursue the MA as translation specialist in eng/rus-ita. I also took exams in literature, modern languages didactics and general linguistics. Ciao! Mi chiamo Noemi, ho 29 anni e sono una parlante bilingue di italiano e inglese. Sono laureata come interprete e traduttrice all'Università di Bologna e sto aspettando di ricominciare la laurea magistrale in traduzione specializzata nella combinazione ing/rus-ita. Ho anche seguito corsi di letteratura, didattica delle lingue moderne e linguistica generale.

Moi en tant que professeur

As a teacher, I am very keen on finding a teaching method that works for the student. As a language student myself, both in school and as a self-taught spanish learner, I really think the right fit is everything. I really pay attention to the context of an exchange or conversation, so this aspect will always be a focus regardless of the topics covered. Mi interessa trovare il metodo di insegnamento adatto al singolo studente perché, da studentessa e autodidatta nell'apprendimento dello spagnolo, per me il giusto metodo ha sempre fatto la differenza. Una cosa su cui faccio particolare attenzione è l'adeguatezza linguistica e di registro al contesto della comunicazione.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

I don't have a set way of teaching languages, it all depends on the student's wants and needs. I use Michael Swan's Practical English Usage for reference but in general I find it important to peruse media in the target language, writing and speaking it (even on your own!) and testing grammar only when necessary or as a side to all of the rest. Non ho un metodo di insegnamento preferito e mi baso molto sulle preferenze dello studente. La mia grammatica di riferimento è il Practical English Usage (M. Swan); per il resto trovo importante consumare molti contenuti in lingua, esercitarsi in modo pratico attraverso conversazione e scrittura libera e fare quiz mirati solo quando necessario.
