Namaskara! I am Ajit, a dedicated Kannada language tutor with expertise in teaching students of all ages, including young learners, teenagers, and adults. My focus is on immersive, conversation-based instruction tailored for expatriates, travelers, professionals, and those with Kannada-speaking partners or school curriculum requirements. Professionally, I am also a photographer and animator, blending creativity with education. Passionate about continuous learning. I have always enjoyed teaching others. I've taught languages to the school kids around my neighborhood for few years as a home tutor and in those days I learned different techniques to teach to different levels of learners. I also learned that everyone has their own speed while learning and as a teacher we need to understand that speed and teach accordingly. I will be teaching Kannada, mainly in conversational method because language is all about how we communicate with others and speaking is one of the main way of communication. I will focus on teaching how to talk to people casually as well as formally with the proper grammar skills. Ajit is a fantastic teacher: very personable, attentive, attuned to detail, and very engaged. Very knowledgeable about Kannada grammar but also pragmatic about the necessity of developing conversational skills and workaday Kannada. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn or brush up on their Kannada.

I just had my first trial lesson with Ajit and he taught me several useful phrases, along with proper pronunciations, some geographies of local languages, and was able to incorporate some Hindi practice in for me as well. Awesome!
