My name is Jan, I am 38 years old and I study German studies, as well as philosophy and pedagogy in Halle an der Saale. My interests are reading philosophical texts, making music and travelling.

Due to my studies and a further occupation as a language teacher I already have experience as a language teacher for German as a foreign language.

I prefer to learn a language by using it. I am happy to offer grammar lessons, but I give great importance to speaking, specially topics related to the everyday life.
Ich bevorzuge das erlernen einer Sprache indem man sie anwendet. Gern kann ich Grammatikstunden anbieten allerdings lege ich viel Wert viel zu sprechen und dies wenn möglich und gewollt sehr nahe an dem Alltagsgeschen zu orientieren.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Jan is a wonderful teacher, experienced and helpful. I take his both courses: learning German through reading literature and the course on Grammar. Both are very useful. Besides German, Jan is a true scholar who immerse you in history and culture. Strongly recommend

I've been studying beginner level German with Jan for almost 2 months now and the sessions have been fantastic. Each session is well planned, fun and is delivered in a really enthusiastic and engaging way so you learn as much about the history, culture and geography of Germany as you do the language. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Jan. We just finished reading through Goethe's Faust and started today with Kafka's Der Prozess. Jan always makes lessons interesting and fun.
