It was roughly 5days after the test day, and I was still being skeptical of my performance taking the test—upon opening the IELTS website, however, it shocked me: I got 8.5 for my speaking!!! (with overall band scores of 8) I was only preparing for IELTS for only a month before taking the test, and with this short amount of time, I decided to do the Itaki classes with Aaron every single day—this class really changed my perspective about IELTS, and I wouldn’t come this far without the help Aaron. The classes consisted mainly of the speaking practice test—the experiences almost identical to the test: the time pressure, the atmosphere, and the difficulty; afterward, Aaron would give insanely detailed feedback and how to improve upon your mistakes. Aaron is a great teacher in preparing for IELTS. I aimed at 7.5/8 and got 8.5 which is a great result for me. He has an effective and simple approach: every lesson, he conducts mock tests, listens to your answers, gives you feedback on what was wrong, and suggests new cool words you could use in that situation. It worked as a charm for me; I improved my speaking skills, not just for IELTS but for everyday small talk as well.
