梨菜 (りな)/ Rina

I've been taking lessons with Rina-san for a while now, and I can't recommend her enough! She's incredibly kind and patient, which makes it easy to speak freely and make mistakes without feeling self-conscious. At the same time, she brings a lot of positive energy to each session, which keeps the lessons fun and engaging. Each session is a nice balance between free conversation and structured book practice. This approach keeps things both natural and goal-oriented. Rina-san is also very organized — she takes notes during the lesson and shares them afterward, including any new vocabulary, grammar points, or useful phrases that came up, which makes reviewing super easy. One of my favorite things is that our conversations often include everyday life topics, current events, and pop culture, which makes the practice feel very real and applicable to daily Japanese. I've been studying with Rina for over 2 years and in that time, I've gone from an almost complete beginner to having passed the N3. One of her greatest strengths is how well she is able to explain complex or tricky grammar points, as well as her ability to make every lesson engaging and fun. We've currently begun prepping for the N2 together and although it'll be the hardest challenge I've had, I'm confident that I'll be able to pass with Rina.
