Kimiko Nicole

I’ve been studying with her for a while now, and I strongly recommend her because she is patient and, most importantly, consistent. She not only introduces her own culture but also understands and respects the differences between hers and mine. She doesn’t correct every single mistake I make, which allows the conversation to flow. Even though I sometimes use Korean or English when I can’t think of the word in Spanish, she understands and explains everything back in Spanish. This has been a huge help in developing my listening skills. I really respect her teaching style and support.

This was my first lesson with Kimiko. The hour passed very quickly cuz I really enjoyed the class. Kimiko knows well how to guide the conversation and listened to me patiently. I have been working with Kimiko for the last four months. My language learning journey is moving slowly, but thanks to Kimiko, it is very fun and rewarding. We use Spanish most of the time, but she explains things in English when I don’t understand. My speaking is still limited, but she encourages me to speak about different topics. I really appreciate her patience. Her material is perfect for my beginner level, and the homework is fun too. I have learned not only the language but about Latin culture as well. I am very lucky to have found her. I look forward to continuing to work with her.

키미코 선생님께 스페인어 배운지 반년이 넘어가고 있습니다. 언어를 이렇게 재미있게 배울수 있어서 즐겁게 배우고 있어요. 처음에는 영어로 문법 수업을 집근처에서 들었었고, 기초 듣고 나서 몇달 있다가 선생님과 배우기 시작했습니다. 중급반 들어갔는데 말을 하나도 못해서 충격을 받아서... 실제 생활에서 사용하는 표현방법과 문법들을 배우면서 듣기와 말하기 연습도 할 수 있어서 조금씩 조금씩 표현할수 있는것이 늘고 있어서 좋습니다. 키미코 선생님 정말 제가 표현할수 있는 말이 나오게 잘 기다려 주시고 잘 모르는건 또 쉽게 가르쳐 주세요. 여행, 일생대화를 기초부터 배우시고 싶으신 1:1 튜터링 찾으는분들께 추천드립니다. 언어라는게 정말 조금씩 매일 해야 느는거라 꾸준히 하시면 일취월장 하실거예요. 스페인어 배우는게 정말 재미있습니다.

Kimiko has been helping me with Spanish grammar and speaking. I usually take two lessons from her, and those are the highlight of my week. I really enjoy learning Spanish. She is very patient with me and helps me express what I'd like to say. Instant feedback and corrections really help me remember grammar, vocabulary, and patterns. I started with knowing only "Hola" and a few vocabulary words, and I am still a beginner and hope to visit Latin America in the near future.
