¡Hola! I'm Eduardo, I come from Mexico but I'm currently living in New York City. I'm a native Spanish speaker and can speak English fluently as well. I can also speak some Mandarin and German, languages which I'm also studying here on italki!
I've been teaching Spanish for almost 5 years. I've found the whole teaching and learning experience very enjoyable and fascinating.
Besides studying languages and teaching Spanish, I'm also a composer and I love playing and writing music. I'm always looking for new music to listen to in different languages or that represent different cultures.Moi en tant que professeur
Patient and flexible!
I started learning languages over 10 years ago, and so I know what is like to be a student. This helps me to better understand and adapt to each students needs, since we all learn differently.
I've had experience with complete beginners as well as more advanced students. And have helped some to prepare for tests as well, which I'm a big fan of.
I've also had experience working with doctors, and so if you're one yourself we can work on healthcare related Spanish too.Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement
Whether you're looking to practice through conversations, or follow a more structured plan I can adapt to you.
I do have a preferred book I like to use, but I'm always interested in learning about new books or methods.
And I do like to give homework, just as long as it helps you to have something concrete to work on between lessons. The progress one makes as a student relies largely on the work done outside class, and so I encourage working on your own as much as possible so as to get the most out of our lessons.Mes ressources d'enseignement

Great conversational class with Eduardo. He's good at finding areas that need work, providing colloquialisms and teaching cultural aspects to the language. Easy to talk to, as well. The time always flies during our lessons!

I would recommend Eduardo to anyone, he is a great teacher and super easy to talk to. He always comes prepared to each lesson and gives you proper communication if a class needs to be moved beforehand. In addition to that he is very understanding and accommodating if you need to move the class on your end. He keeps the classes fun and engaging while being very informative. I think anyone's Spanish level would benefit from his help and that is why I would recommend him.
