I have been taking classes with Etien for almost 2 months now and I have noticed good progress in my comprehension and pronunciation skills. Etien is very kind, patient, easygoing, and friendly. And although I stumble often at my current level, I feel comfortable making mistakes. Etien is good at understanding your current level and creates relevant connections so French concepts are more memorable. He also provides helpful feedback on my pronunciation and encourages me to try my best. Etien's classes provide me with structured lessons in a casual atmosphere. I always enjoy our classes and recommend him to others :)

Etien is incredibly patient and accommodating. As a professional musician, he speaks clearly and naturally, which really helps me since my primary goal is to improve my listening comprehension and learn everyday expressions, rather than formal textbook French. His high-quality microphone setup and lesson notes make practicing listening and shadowing much easier. I also appreciate his music recommendations, as they provide a fun and effective way to increase my exposure to Quebec French and get more natural input.

It was nice to have a conversation in English with Etien even though his first language is French. He is fun, nice and a really cool guy who likes beatboxing and making music and it's his real passion! He told me everything interesting about himself and I did the same with him! I received a feedback about my English from him and he said that my English is great and he could understand me pretty well and that I made no mistakes. It's really cool to get this feedback from him! He's a nice guy to talk to in English! I hope to book a class with him again to talk with him! I hope to see him again soon!
