My trial lesson with Miwa was great. She asked me about my Japanese goals (polishing spoken and written output) and explained how she could help me reach them. I already scheduled my next lesson, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

I had my first lesson reading from a novel I'm reading with Miwa, and it went great. I'm aiming to improve pitch accent and pronunciation, and working with her showed me I have a lot of work to do still! But I'm glad to have a teacher who can help me polish my speaking and unlearn some bad habits while learning new things.

美和先生 is so patient and fun to talk to. Our conversation is very practical and I always feel encouraged to speak more. Miwa Sensei also has a wonderful podcast that I learn so much from.
