I like that Soo Young teacher keeps me on track during lessons. I sometimes have a lot of questions about similar grammar or similar words that could probably make a lesson take two or three hours, but she's very good about giving me a simple answer and then steering me back onto what we're actually studying. And the lessons are also fun and engaging because the atmosphere is so comfortable. I enjoy that I get to speak, ask questions, and use plenty of Korean instead of just listening for a long time and taking notes. I look forward to the next lesson.

I'm learning a lot of Korean having fun, and even when I don't get something, Professor Kim always explains it to me in a joyful and clear way, until I fully understand. I'm so glad I have the opportunity to study and learn this wonderful language with useful tools (such as exercises, homework and different materials) and a capable guide. I've completed less than 10 lessons and I'm already seing improvement. I would recommend her to anyone willing to build solid language skills and a comprehension of the mechanisms of Korean language.

I learned a lot in Soo Young Kim's classroom! She is a very encouraging teacher and I love that her class has a strong structure. I could practice listening, speaking, grammar, and reading all at the same time! It was a lot of fun!

선생님 김 uses an immersive method that models Korean language patterns and grammar structure and makes you speak, read, and interact with the Korean language. She uses a lot of repetition to maximize practice and provides immediate feedback, creating the framework for natural conversations. Her slides are very clear and her videos at the end of class slows you to review the class content at your own pace. She goes over the homework with you so that you understand errors. Her methodology is based on active and communicative learning. And above all, she is very patient! I have made a lot of progress since I started, all of a sudden the grammar started to click. Now I feel that I understand more and more. I highly recommend this teacher.

Our first class was great. We introduced ourselves and then went through a lesson presentation she had prepared. It covered a specific grammar point, notes about usage, example sentences, practice Q&A, sentence building prompts, and a reading passage with audio to review after class. She then assigned me some homework to review and practice the grammar point. She was friendly and patient as I struggled to be creative haha. I already booked a second lesson :) 감사합니다!
