I am Yukiko and a native Japanese Speaker.
I am from Tokyo, so I speak unaccented Japanese.
At present, I am teaching at a Japanese language school and an item writer for materials for JLPT measures in Japan from 2020. I'm confident in the JLPT preparation lessons because I am analyzing tests of JLPT.
My hobbies are traveling and reading books and watching movies.
I especially like novels, for example, Haruki Murakami, Tatiana de Rosnay, John Grisham, etc. And I like romantic movies is set in Europe.
I would like to talk a lot with people who would like to know about Japan, who would like to be interested in Japan.
Let's have a fun time together.
I provide online Japanese lessons and also teach at a Japanese language school. I tailor my lessons to each learner’s level.
I have experience creating JLPT test-preparation textbooks and hold the Registered Japanese Language Teacher license, the national certification issued by Japan’s Ministry of Education.
I am also familiar with Japanese used in the travel and tourism industry.
I believe vocabulary, grammar, and expressive ability are essential—and enjoying the learning process is just as important.
I look forward to teaching Japanese actively and engagingly.
Japanese-learner can choose free conversation or using textbooks.
I recommend using proper textbooks for beginners, and learning subjects that you are not good at, such as conversation, grammar, writing for intermediate and advanced learners.

With Yukiko-sensei's help, I was able to pass the December 2025 JLPT N2 test with a score of 112/180 (over *30 points* higher than my failing score last year)! I am so, so grateful for her assistance. She made practicing for the test manageable (and fun too), and improved my confidence a lot. I *highly* recommend her!
