Fabiana has over half a decade working experience and has built a professional career across various sectors within the educational field. She has gained experience working as an education consultant, HR specialist and a Mandarin Chinese tutor in China, Taiwan and the UK.
It is through these experiences that she developed a passion for working closely with students from all around the world. Knowing that she can make a positive impact on their careers is what drives her.

I have several years of experience teaching Chinese both online and in person. I am certified by the World Chinese Language Association and the Taiwanese Ministry of Education to teach Mandarin as a second language. With a background in language centers and HR, I offer not only daily Mandarin usage but also enriching language experiences. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, English, and Spanish, my multicultural background enables me to bridge cultural gaps and facilitate cross-cultural connections. My main aim is to tackle the problems that my students find the most challenging. I identify what my students need help with the most and plan lessons based on that. I tend to adopt a situational language teaching method, which motivates student to speak/listen with my conversational guidance.
Everything I plan into a lesson has a purpose and I make sure that my students know why they're learning what they're learning. I am also a strong believer in self-evaluation, so if something is not working I make sure to try something new.Mes ressources d'enseignement

I've been practicing conversation with Fabiana for a few weeks now and her lessons are always a lot of fun and push me to expand my vocabulary and use more appropriate grammar. She even goes as far as to make a list of all the vocab we use each class. Within 2 months I already feel a lot more confident about speaking in Chinese.

My 6 year old son loved having Chinese class with Ms. Fang. The class is engaging and my kid cannot wait to have the next class with Ms. Fang. What I really appreciated is Ms. Fang prepared and sent us the materials for the class for everybody is well prepared for the class.

I am very shy in speaking foreign languages, but Fabi 老師 made me feel very comfortable from the very first class. I like her teaching style a lot, and she keeps notes on what we talked about in the lesson so that I can review them afterward!

Fabi is an excellent teacher. I've been working with her for a couple of months now and I couldn't be happier. She has a talent for making lessons fun and relevant to real life while keeping me on course with the textbook.
One thing that's especially helpful for me is that sometimes my work life keeps me from studying as much as I should, but she's awesome at adjusting our pace as needed and staying encouraging.
Since I'm at a very beginner level, it's also super helpful that she is so knowledgeable about grammar and how to think through it between Mandarin and English. She is great at anticipating differences or similarities that would be helpful to point out, and I can also ask any question. And at the same time she pushes and supports doing as much of our communicating in Mandarin as possible.
I highly recommend this teacher!
