Friendly and passionate certified English teacher and linguistics graduate from New Zealand Hi there, I’m Kent! I’m a native English speaker from New Zealand, currently based in Christchurch, NZ. With a BA in Linguistics and German and a CELTA certification, I’ve been dedicated to helping students on italki reach their language milestones since 2017. My teaching style is conversation-driven and highly personalised. Whether you are preparing for the IELTS, refining your grammar, or want to dive deep into Kiwi culture and the New Zealand accent, I tailor every session to your specific objectives. As a language learner myself, I understand the hurdles you face and focus on making our lessons both productive and engaging. The Live Feedback System To ensure your progress is measurable, I provide a dedicated Google Sheet for every student. During our lesson, I track your errors in real-time. We dedicate the final portion of each class to reviewing these notes together, ensuring you walk away with a clear understanding of how to improve.
