**Hello!! I will be on vacation from the 9th-29th of September! I am Alessia, a 31-year-old certified Italian language instructor currently based in Brindisi, located in the Puglia region of Italy. I hold academic qualifications in Chinese and Linguistics from the University of Westminster in London. My professional journey in language instruction began in 2015 during my year-long residence in China, where I gained valuable teaching experience. In 2020, I further enhanced my credentials by obtaining the CEDILS certification. Beyond my professional pursuits, I maintain a strong interest in literary studies, gastronomy (with particular emphasis on Pugliese cuisine), and music exploration.

I've been meeting with Alessia weekly for about six months as a beginner. She is unfailingly patient with my mistakes and always finds another way to explain something when I don't understand. I can see my progress in understanding Italian. I still have a long way to go and hope to continue the journey with Alessia pointing the way.
