Ellie 〈Eri えり〉

Sometimes it's a little hard to explain why a teacher is really, really good. Eri-sensei is smart and obviously experienced. She is also always engaged in the lesson and in making sure the student is learning. She somehow manages to do this while making the lessons enjoyable and not stressful which is truly an art.

さすがえり先生！she makes her own lesson material and I think she should publish it. Seriously, I've been self studying for 4 years and tried so many different books and online resources. Her material is so helpful and interesting! Conversations are natural and fun and I learn so much every time!

Elllie's manages to created a lesson that is focused and relaxed at the same time. I think of myself as an upper level beginner. Some of my skills might be getting close to intermediate. I think Ellie would be a good teacher for any level of student. I recommend her highly.

Ellie/Eri is a very good teacher. She gets me to struggle through grammar lessons which I appreciate so, so much. I need to do this and it would be easier for her to just let me completely slack off, but she gets me improve and motivates me to keep studying Japanese.

This was my first lesson with Ellie. The lesson was enjoyable. Ellie is very focused on helping the student improve which I appreciate. I would recommend her to other students.
