Hello! My name is Emilio and I'm a South African guy who loves cooking, singing and travelling. I am both creatively and technically inclined. I love conversing in a social manner, but also like looking at languages from a scientific viewpoint. I obtained a degree in supply chain management and recently relocated to Portugal. I love being a teacher since it enables me to learn so much about different cultures and countries

In South Africa, we have 11 official languages and I am a native speaker of two of these (English and Afrikaans). I pride myself on being punctual, prepared and patient to help my students reach their goals to the best of their abilities. I know how much I enjoy learning and progressing in a new language and would love to be able to give my students that amazing feeling and boost their confidence.

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

I believe learning a new language should be challenging but most importantly, fun. I can offer classes focusing on grammar, vocabulary and conversational skills that ensure an improvement in your overall proficiency. I think that a person should be corrected when making mistakes, as correcting even the smallest mistakes can take your English from novice to professional. I can also assist with informal as well as formal English. Since I lived in the USA for a year, I can also help a student to practice their American accent.

I worked with Emilio for almost half a year and I can say that he is a real professional. The conversations with him gave me a lot of confidence and the possibility to express a lot of complex thoughts in English. He is an open-minded and curious individual who, besides the pedagogic approach, tries to understand more about you by involving you in conversations with different levels of difficulty. Also, by asking you to express your thoughts, ideas, and opinions on different topics he challenges you in a very beneficial and efficient way, and that's what I like the most. Keep it up, Emilio!

Today’s business english lesson was joyful and fun. We talked about solving problems and he improved my pronunciation, corrected my mistakes and showed me the best way to express. His teaching style is so helpful, i learned a lot and i’m looking forward for the next lesson 📚✔️
