Mona's trial lesson was enjoyable and informative. This was my first-ever conversation with a native Arabic speaker! Mona was patient with me while I laughed at my terrible pronunciation of the emphatic consonants. It was reaffirming to know which words and sounds I can pronounce properly and where I need to improve. Mona encouraged me to speak - despite my limited vocabulary. I also greatly value Mona's effort and patience there! As this was our trial lesson, we briefly discussed Mona's approach in teaching, and the textbooks and materials she usually uses. Mona was open to answering questions. Overall, Mona has been flexible and accommodating to my requested approach in learning. She seems like someone who is reliable and methodical, and I hope she can guide me through the early stages of learning MSA. Thank you, and I look forward to our next lesson.
