Our lesson went well:) I've talked a little bit about what tasks I've completed so far (in terms of hobbies, work, etc.), we've looked over a couple of my homework mistakes and discussed them, and then read a new text with some new words. As usual, every word and phrase has been discussed with examples and thorough explanations😊

I was looking for a very specific style of Chinese lessons that Ling had never taught before. She was willing to develop a completely new approach with me and quickly created lessons and study notes that perfectly matched my learning style. Her flexibility and adaptability impressed me from the very beginning. Our lessons focus on natural communication instead of textbook Chinese. We explore different ways to express the same ideas, ranging from everyday expressions to more humorous ones. My study notes introduce new vocabulary mainly through images, which works very well for me. Ling is excellent at guiding conversations and helping me turn simple ideas into smooth, natural-sounding stories. Creating them together is always enjoyable. Most importantly, she genuinely cares about her students' progress and always tries to provide the kind of teaching that works best for each individual. I have been taking classes with Ling老师 for the past few weeks and I am still continuing with her. She is always punctual which I truly appreciate. What stands out the most is how she recognizes my struggles and knows exactly how to help me overcome them. Thanks to her marvelous approach, I have been able to apply what I have learned in her class into real life situations with confidence. Great teacher! I was looking for someone to help me with my speaking, and Ling is super helpful! She is willing to repeat things and explain things in different ways to help you understand. Speaking is much more difficult than just knowing a grammar point, so having practice with it is super useful. I think lessons with Ling will really improve my speaking over time. Highly recommend this teacher!
