Kevin

Have been studying with Kevin for a few months and it helps build my confidence. He’s patient and provides good example. He follows up each lesson with feedback and pronunciation tips.

Teacher Kevin brought a useful published lesson with a short dialogue and exercises. He also brought a good ice-breaker question (Have you eaten yet?). This allowed me to speak the language and learn new words and expressions. My class was very useful. I highly recommend this teacher (Kevin).

Kevin helped me a lot with reading and pronunciation, as well as teaching some grammar points. He follows up the lesson with helpful notes and voice recordings to improve understanding and pronunciation.

Teacher Kevin created a supportive learning environment. He balanced appropriate calm correction with appreciative comments about my pronunciation. This is so important to a student who wishes to run before they can walk. The key aspect of Teacher Kevin’s teaching is ‘encouraging.’

Lessons continue to be very helpful! Japanese is improving while also practicing Chinese.
