Another awesome lesson with Aki! If you need to improve your Japanese and want to have an incredibly fun time then she’s your go-to teacher for both progressing and enjoying the language journey you’re embarking on!

I am really impressed with how intuitive Aki-san is- she always picks up on the things that I'm struggling with, even if I don't realize what they are. Then she knows exactly what to do to help me improve. Additionally, she does all this while still having a fun and engaging conversation! ありがとうございました！また次のレッスンを楽しみにしています！

If you are looking for not only an incredible teacher, but also an incredible human, Aki-sensei is the person you're looking for. I've studied with many teachers on italki, and no one makes me feel more comfortable. She is patient, great at continuing a conversation, an expert at explaining unknown Japanese words/ phrases in Japanese, and most importantly she makes me more passionate about learning the language. My lessons with Aki are primarily conversation practice-based. However, I have provided vocal lists or grammar points that I have struggled with in the past and she was able to explain them and integrate them into our conversation practice. I think if you are seeking conversation practice and to build speaking confidence (like me), Aki is the best teacher for you.

A very wonderful lesson with Aki talking about how people use the buy now pay later option, how secure you can feel when holding a stuffed animal, and loud noises that make you jump! Such a fun lesson! I learned a lot of new vocabulary and had a really great and fun conversation!
