I grew up in a suburb, majored in English in college, worked as a banker in Tokyo for 4 years and moved to the UK in August 2022.
I had a huge crush on Justin Bieber and One Direction when I was like 15 and wanted to understand what they say without Japanese subtitles😅That’s how my English learning journey started.
At first, I was practicing just by watching interviews and singing songs in English mostly. And I eventually started using a website/app where I can do a language exchange. Then, I realised that real English is a lot different from the English I leant in school. Also, to communicate with people, you have to understand the cultures and stuff.Moi en tant que professeur
I’m not like a teacher teacher, but a friendly tutor or a friend even! That’s my main reason to be here actually. I want you to learn/practice real Japanese without any hesitation or concern and talk to me about whatever you want, like you are talking to your friend!
I have a teaching experience since 2019. I’ve met a lot of amazing students since then :) I became friends with some of them. It’s one of the best ways to learn a language and keep your language levels without any pressure. We can talk about literally ANYTHING! I’d like to know how you want to do our lessons coz I want you to be comfortable :) I’ll try my best to do the lessons the way you want. If there is anything you want me to fix, I’d appreciate if you tell me your honest thoughts/opinions.
With my students who can already speak decent Japanese, we normally just talk about random topics. And with my other students who aren’t confident in/comfortable with Japanese, we use any kind of material if you prefer or just practice speaking and listening mainly as slow as possible.
