My name is Hiromi from Okinawa Island, Japan. I was born in the beautiful city of Kanazawa and I also lived in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nara. I have a master's degree in sociology and have been a counselor and a communication trainer for the last 30 years. I also have written and translated several books and articles about family, gender, etc. I attended many conferences in Japan and other countries, in which I learnt a lot of things to empower women and girls. I am very passionate about teaching and learning languages. I have a national certificate to teach English at schools. I speak with a standard and classy Japanese accent. I can teach you daily Japanese conversation or formal conversation, starting from beginner’s level all the way to advanced depending on your needs. Today we had a fun class where we read articles on climate change and another one about student volunteers who volunteered to beautify their city. I learned new vocabulary words, kanji and grammar points.
We took turns reading aloud and worked on making example sentences.
One of my favorite part was doing free talk that was related to the articles.
