Such a good teacher and a good first lesson! I’m excited to start my lessons and learn more.

Very respectful and very passionate about helping me to learn to speak and to hear kreyòl tankou natif natal. I'm being pushed -- in a good way! -- to work hard to understand without having to resort to translations as I listen and respond. I could not be happier with the work and the results.

Really good work, and challenging! I enjoyed the classwork of taking a selected text, reading it out loud, and then answering questions in the same language. That's a great workout for my brain.

This was an *excellent* first conversation with Teacher Cleef. We spent our initial session talking about what the lessons will look like, what materials we'll use, and the goals. Because I'm looking for help in speaking conversationally, I think this will be a tremendous help in my efforts to speak Haitian Creole with confidence and accuracy.

We covered a lot of ground in this lesson. Cleef introduced vocabulary, foundational grammar, had me practice my pronunciation until I had it down. He's very good at interjecting tips on "real" spoken Haitian Creole.
