My name is Maya and I'm from the United States. I have a TESOL certification and am a native speaker with a neutral American accent. I have been teaching English both online and offline for about 2 years and have a passion for teaching and learning other languages. I have been studying Russian for 1.5 years! I have lived in Texas most of my life but now I am in New York. I am interested many things including art, yoga, traveling, and music. I play the guitar and have been to several countries around the world.

As a teacher I am laid back, but I want to see your English progress through our lessons. I want you to feel comfortable and ask as many questions as you have. I will do my best to help you reach your goals and become more confident in speaking!

Mes leçons et ma méthode d'enseignement

My lessons will be conducted through different discussion topics depending on your interests. You can expect new vocabulary words, and help with grammar. Throughout our discussions I will correct your mistakes when speaking and teach you how to properly pronounce words. I like to incorporate music, movies and arts in my lessons, so don't be surprised if we use different materials to learn English! I like to keep things fun and interesting.
