Jess is truly an exceptional teacher. I can communicate well enough in English for everyday life, but I’ve often wondered how to improve beyond that. Jess understood exactly what I needed. She didn’t overlook my mistakes just because she understood what I meant, and helped me express myself more naturally. She also typed throughout the lesson, so I could see the corrections and natural expressions as we spoke, which made everything much easier to understand. What impressed me most was how her thoughtful questions brought out the English that is actually relevant to me and my life. I wasn’t just practising English — I was learning to express myself through it. Every minute felt meaningful and focused on my learning. Jess also has a wonderful personality, and as a language teacher myself, I feel I can learn so much from her, not only about English, but also about teaching. I’m so grateful I found her!
