Thu is the best teacher i have had on Italki in any language. She is not only great at teaching but works well to adapt to your individual learning styleIf you like customized notes she types amazingly fast and makes updates before her lessons. She really works hard for her money and has a great personality. Its amazing how far she has taken me i really feel i can speak a language i once thought was impossible.

Thu was very friendly and cooperative and quickly adapted her speed and vocabulary to my level. I enjoyed our simple conversations and the cultural insights she provided and I found her enthusiasm very motivating.

Great lesson with Thu! We started with some small talk. After that, we reviewed asking time-related questions such as "how long already?" and "how much longer?". We also reviewed the different ways of saying "only" and "very". We continued doing several related exercises. Thu is a dedicated teacher and always encouraging!

First lesson... incredible. Because honestly, one of my greatest shame was not speaking my family's native language. And this year, I made it priority to not only improve my family's native language, but also put a lot of intention behind it. So I put my money where my mouth was and booked a lesson with Thu. It was very cathartic for me having someone walk me through Vietnamese in just the first lesson, and helping me root out my vocabulary that I know, but rarely used. So Thu does an excellent job sussing out where your Vietnamese is, and how to directly target your learning. Truly appreciate the lesson and looking forward to the next one!
