Tracy

It is a rare thing to have a teacher who can read a student and teach them in a way that they will learn best. This is something that Tracy has. She is creative, bright, and an intuitive teacher. She doesn't just use a formula for everyone, she doesn't talk at you, she talks with you, learning from you and then applying that knowledge in how best to teach you. I have quite a few teachers but none as willing to teach and to teach in a way that you can learn. I appreciate her more and more.

My first Chinese lesson couldn’t be better. Tracey was super helpful with my tones and doubts. She corrected me and motivated me to keep learning Mandarin. I can’t wait for the next class！谢谢

Tracy is consistently patient and repeats the vocabulary that I seem to forget often, no judgement, doesn't bring attention to the repetition, but does repeat the pronunciation when I forget the tone....gently of course. I learn something every time we meet. I have been with her for almost a year and I will continue for a bit longer!

My daughter loves this teacher. The teacher is fun and makes the class interesting keeping my 8 year old engaged and wanting to learn more Chinese.

I have improved daily with my weekly conversations with Tracy. I am coincidentally taking a Chinese course with my community college. However, my speaking was undeveloped and was a struggle since I didn't get enough time to practice in class. Tracy has corrected some of my assignments and I have been speaking with her for almost a year. My speaking "acumen" is not bad, I can speak more easily with Native Chinese people and can understand and read the language. I'm going to continue with Tracy, now that my language (2 years) class is done, I will probably see her twice a week!

As usual, Tracy was just fine, friendly, empathetic and NO pressure. John
