Super lesson with Jie! We talked about many different things, including "having wisdom teeth pulled", "manga" and "storms". Jie is patient and helpful while I'm speaking. She also has a fun sense of humor that makes lessons entertaining!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about barbecue, the two-week periods of time on the lunar calendar, identifying different plants in nature. Jie does a nice job of using photos and videos to supplement the learning in the class!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about different things, including fruit, being exiled (in older times), studying overseas and pressure that young people face. Jie does a great job of talking about real-life situations, which helps me understand real spoken Chinese!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about the parts of the day according to Traditional Chinese Medicine. We also talked about facial differences due to geography. I told Jie about my experience working with a deaf person. Jie does a nice job of keeping the conversation going!

Great lesson with Jie! We talked about a variety of topics, including school tests and study habits, "losing face" and "chasing immortality". I always have interesting conversations with Jie, and she does a good job of relating things to her personal experience and things that are going on in China!
