Yuka

I have been taking Japanese classes with different teachers and Yuka is the one who connects the most with my learning style. She creates a g.doc sheet and she writes everything in real time. For me, this is visual learners heaven together with having all this written down for review after class. Not enough, she is so encouraging and patient, she explains thoroughly and when I say I did not understand she goes after different examples until it gets clearer. And everytime I say this is difficult she has funny ways to convince me this is ok and she believes in my learning potential. Arigatoo Yuka-san! Totemo ii sensee desu!

Honest, Casual and 100% FUN! Lessons with Yuka-san feels like I'm talking to an old friend, with her cheerful demeanour, theres never a dull nor awkward moment in the 35+ conversation sessions I've had with her. You will look forward to lessons with Yuka because she pre-plans very interesting conversation topics together with you, giving beginners like me more time to jot down what to say during the actual lesson. Yuka is also very charismatic and patient, she has a very positive and nurturing vibe that makes even shy people want to open up and try sharing in Japanese! Believe me when I tell you, my confidence in speaking Japanese had an immense boost when I travelled to Japan, all because of the casual and comfortable setting that Yuka have provided as immersion during these lesson. All in all, high praises to Yuka and I look forward to more and more future conversations with her. p.s. She also has a fun, casual bite-sized podcast on apple/spotify :)

I loved my trial lesson with Yuka and will definitely be booking another lesson. She made me feel comfortable even though I am still at a learning stage where I can understand more that I can speak. I’m excited for the next lesson!
