I’m very satisfied with my lessons with Eman. She is a great professional: respectful, patient, and always supportive during class. She explains everything clearly in perfect English, which makes learning much easier and more enjoyable. She pays close attention to my pronunciation and always helps me improve my speaking skills through practice and conversation. I also really appreciate that she teaches not only the language, but also interesting aspects of Egyptian culture. Another thing I love about her classes is the material she uses. The Egyptian Arabic textbook is excellent and comes with audio recordings, which is very helpful for listening practice and pronunciation. She also writes all the lesson notes in a Google Docs document, so I can easily review everything after class. I highly recommend Eman’s classes to anyone who wants to learn Egyptian Arabic in a professional, organized, and enjoyable way.

I would like to highlight Mohammed’s excellent work as a teacher. He is highly professional and has a great ability to guide his lessons in a clear and dynamic way, always adapting to the student’s needs. From the very beginning, he creates a comfortable and trusting environment, which makes learning with him a very enjoyable experience. He also shows great judgment when choosing topics for the lessons, especially during conversation practice. He consistently brings up interesting and level-appropriate subjects, allowing for natural and effective practice. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to improve their language skills with a thoughtful, dedicated, and supportive teacher.

Mustafa is a very kind and patient teacher. He has been with me since he taught me how to read and write and Arabic and now I am able to converse in Arabic thanks to him. He teaches vocabulary within context so that I can remember things better. He also asks questions frequently to check for understanding. Something that I appreciate about Mustafa is that he is very patient with me. I have a really bad memory when it comes to vocabulary but he is great at helping me remember vocabulary by using similar words to help aid me or using antonyms. He also likes to use mostly Arabic now that I am comfortable with it. He likes to take feedback as well as a teacher which shows he is open to growth. I am thankful I have chosen him as my Egyptian Arabic teacher. He's the best!!!

Hadeer is such a good teacher. She makes egyptian arabic easy to learn and so intuitive. She is very organised and make the course very interactive so that is easier to digest the new things to learn. To me she is the best teacher I ever had, I wish all teachers would be like her.

Ahmed is honestly one of the best language teachers I’ve ever had! He’s patient, thoughtful, and brings a rare level of social and cultural awareness to his lessons. Every class feels dynamic, with a great mix of conversation, slang, and grammar. What truly makes Ahmed a rare treasure among teachers is how human his teaching feels. He doesn’t just teach Arabic, he teaches you how to navigate the world in Arabic: how certain words might sound to others and what they imply socially. For example, in our latest class, he explained why using “legi2” for refugees could sound insensitive…something I would never have known otherwise. I don’t think even my Egyptian relatives could have explained that one to me. It’s that kind of insight and empathy that makes learning with him such a unique experience. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher (and I think you will too!)

After 220+ lessons with Mohamed with clear progression and results, I can confidently say that Mohamed is the best arabic teacher out there. I started Egyptian Arabic from scratch 16 months ago and immediately hit it off with Mohamed’s teaching style on day 1. His lessons are structured and mixed with repetition, humor, and real life expressions and examples. It just works for me. I love it when what I learn in his class comes to life in movies or social media as I don’t live in an Arab speaking country. It makes learning Egyptian Arabic a thrill for me and I can’t thank Mohamed enough for his patience for bringing me to this point. He comes highly recommended to anyone wanting to learn Arabic seriously.

My conversations with Abdeen are always a highlight of my week. He is an absolute joy to study with! I appreciate his relaxed, flexible, and patient teaching style, which allows me to express myself without fear of making mistakes. I know he will kindly correct them! Besides being a dedicated and caring teacher, Abdeen is also a wonderful person: warm-hearted, open-minded, and humorous. Like every other time, today's conversation left me with a big smile and gratitude for all we discussed and everything I learned—new vocabulary, grammar distinctions, and fascinating insights about him or Egypt that I didn't know before. After 34 Egyptian Arabic lessons with Mr. Ibrahim, I can confidently say he is an excellent language tutor. I tried a number of arabic tutors prior, with varying results. Ibrahim stands out. He is very good at gauging your level and progress and modifying the lesson plans to move more quickly or slowly depending on your unique needs. He also ensures you get a healthy amount of speaking time, so you have ample opportunity to practice during lessons. While daunting at first, he eases you into using the language so it feels very natural, and commensurate with your level. Would highly recommend.

Sara is truly an excellent teacher!! I am really pleased with the progress I've made and with the structure of her lessons. Because she's a language learner herself, she really understands when to introduce new grammatical concepts. Her style is a good mix of keeping things structured while also pacing the lessons to the student. She also pays attention to your mistakes and asks questions designed to help you practice them. 11/10 this is the teacher to work with, especially if you are interested in speaking Arabic quickly!

I have been studying Egyptian Arabic with Mai for over a year, and feel enormous improvements in my language skills due to these lessons. Each lesson is well-structured and have tangible goals that make learning manageable and enjoyable. Mai is patient and does a fantastic job at finding your level and speaking at a level that is both understandable and still challenges your vocabulary skills. I would highly recommend Mai for anyone wanting to learn Egyptian Arabic!
