Constantine is a great, conscientious teacher. He provides excellent resources to help me learn. He's patient and works hard to help me with my pronunciation - he's very effective helping students form the sounds they need to form. I also appreciated that he was willing to answer my questions about Belarusian culture - it made for a more holistic experience learning the language.

A wonderful first lesson with Liudmila, she is very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The class was very interesting, a mix of conversation practice, effective vocabulary learning, and poetry reading. If you are able to speak Belarusian a little and want to progress more, Katia is a very good choice, because she is more confident with the language than most Belarusian speakers. She will make you speak on interesting topics and nicely challenge you. Дзякую!

The lessons with Nastassia are very interesting. She talks about the thinks which are currently in the focus of the students everyday life. So one can immediately practice the words you need in everyday communication. Then she provides interesting texts to read and to talk about within the lesson. She finds texts with a good balance between new vocabulary and already known vocabulary, in order to go a step forward in learning the language. Nastassia is very friendly and positive minded and the atmosphere in the lessons is as comfortable and relaxed, that you enjoy the lessons after the work and value them as part of your spare time. Nastassia likes to stick to the language you learn, so she prefers to explain new words in the language you learn. English is also possible, but this may disrupt the thinking in the language you learn. It's exciting to experience that one can already understand explanations in the target language. Nastassia, спасибо большой за уроков. Я рад.

The lesson was challenging, but I enjoyed the interesting material. I loved the game we played today that required me to critically think in the target language! Overall, a great lesson.

I was thrilled and intimidated at the same time, since I am a complete beginner in Belarusian. But Irina was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable at once (thank you, Irina!). She is of course an excellent teacher, and I am going to schedule my second lesson right now!

I only know about 10 words in Belarusian. Demi was very helpful in proving starter resources so we can practice simple conversations from what was available. It was a struggle, but Demi is very patient, understanding, and encouraging to make sure I kept practicing!
