Language learner and patient tutor I am very patient and understand the struggles of learning a new language as I have spent a couple years on italki as a student myself and continue taking lessons regularly. As a tutor I try to do the things that I have found most useful as a learner. We can speak about what interests you, read texts together or watch videos online and then talk about those. I do want to help you with whatever you need, so we will start by speaking about your goals and expectations regarding the lessons. I do not believe in studying grammar charts or vocabulary lists, but I do believe in improving those areas by gaining a natural understanding of how a language works through listening, reading an speaking.

ADVANCED STUDENTS: We will expand your vocabulary by talking/writing about everyday topics or specific issues of your choice, or by discussing short articles that we read before the lesson. EXAM/INTERVIEW PREP: We will be doing official practice exams together or prepare for and hold mock job interviews. Since my lessons are tailored to the needs of individual students, the clearer your idea of what you want to achieve in what timeframe is, the better :)
