My son is a poet-rapper and Hindi journalist and my husband is also a successful Hindi teacher, who has written several books for teaching Hindi. I've been raised in a household, where poetry, literary issues were regularly discussed. My family is from western UP, where Hindi is the primary language, so my Hindi is free from impact of any regional dialect/accent. I teach students of all levels - form basic to advanced Hindi learners. I train my students to think in Hindi. I encourage them to talk to me in Hindi and help them to overcome their fear & hesitation. I'm fluent in English.

I trained Grade 10, 11 and 12 students to prepare for university entrance tests. Later, in June 2022, while still working at my full-time job, I joined the Duolingo Global Ambassador community as a teacher. I took classes during my free time and hosted regular sessions for attendees from Europe and the US – receiving a solid 5-star rating. The rich cultural exchange and global exposure that I gained in these classes, prompted me to make this my permanent vocation.
