Learning a language is an adventure, but learning Italian is THE adventure. ✨🌱 In my experience, the method that has helped me most in learning new languages has been holding conversations on topics of interest to me. In addition, tools such as songs, texts, articles, movies, TV series are very effective for beginning to approach a new language. Teaching Italian to different people, I have noticed that a main element is enthusiasm in discovering things that one does not know. That is why I always try to hold interesting conversations and make sure to create a nice environment. While learning Italian you can discover the culture and this country through texts etc.

La preparazione delle lezioni per me è una fase fondamentale: cerco sempre di trovare argomenti interessanti e stimolanti e modi di usare questi materiali che siano adatti ai bisogni specifici dei miei studenti.

Mi piace parlare della vita di ogni giorno; è un ottimo spunto per agganciarsi ad altri argomenti. Credo che destreggiarsi nella conversazione sia lo scopo di quasi tutti quelli che desiderano imparare una lingua straniera. Leggere ad alta voce aiuta molto a migliorare la pronuncia e a me piace molto ascoltare.

I taught Business English in Florence for two years, then I moved to Sicily where I currently teach English to children, teenagers and adults. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts.
