Die letzten fünf Jahre habe ich in einer Primarschule im Raum Zürich unterrichtet, dort war ich als DaZ (Deutsch als Zweitsprache)-Lehrperson tätig, wo ich auch noch die DaZ-Ausbildung absolviert habe. I can relate to a situation when you start learning, it all goes well for a while and then it all just stops and no matter what you do, you cannot move on and improve your language level. Learning a new language is pretty cool and almost like getting a superpower. But I know from experience how scary it can sometimes be to talk in a foreign language. More often than not, people give up because they don't want to embarrass themselves by making a mistake. Which is a shame. Because mistakes are great. They show us where we can still improve. So, I'm here to tell you to never give up! It's worth to put in some effort even if it means to stumble along the way. Over time, you'll appreciate how far you've come.

I think we should never forget the purpose of language- which is to communicate. so I want you to become successful in that. I can enhance your vocabulary and help you navigate daily situations, prepare for presentations or even tests.

What we will do in our time together here on italki is: enjoying the learning process through maybe sometimes challenging exercises of having free conversation and writing together, maybe recording texts and listening to examples of native speakers.
